Budget Beauty

Hello my lovelies! Today, I am going to unleash my favourite budget beauty products on to you. For me, as a student, money is very tight and therefore, makeup has to be good but not break the bank! So here are my staple low-price products!

Face

I am fortunate that I don’t tend to feel the need to wear foundation. I sometimes use a tinted moisturiser for a hint of coverage but mainly, I use concealer to cover any blemishes that I have. My absolute favourite concealer is the Revolution ‘Conceal and Define’ Concealer. I use the shade C2 and find the consistency perfect for covering my under eyes and any discolouration. I apply this with a beauty sponge and it seamlessly does it’s job!

I have used the Collection Loose Setting Powder in Translucent to set this for a while now. I again use this on a beauty sponge to ensure my concealer is set well!

My Beauty Essentials!

Eyes

I have blue eyes so I tend to opt for bronze and brown colours to accentuate this. I really like to use any eye primer or a light coloured cream shadow to ensure my shadow stays in place all day. I really enjoy using the Sleek Eyeshadow palette in ‘A New Day’. The colours in here complement my eyes perfectly and make them pop. I love to add a cat-eye with the L’Oreal Super Liner in Black Lacquer. The vinyl-effect finish adds a slight sheen whilst ensuring it stays put all day long! For my eyebrows, I tend to just use a brown eyeshadow and the Real Techniques Brow Brush.

I also have naturally long eyelashes so find that a volumising mascara works best for me. My favourite at the moment (and not just because of the beautiful rose gold packaging!) is the No. 7 ‘The Full 360 Mascara’. It makes my eyes really pop and finishes the look perfectly.

Lips

For my lips, I often just use a lip balm, such as the Burt’s Bees Pomegranate lip balm. However, I sometimes resort back to, the most expensive product on this list, my trusty MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick. The muted rose/nude is so beautiful and the matte formula means it stays on quite well.

I hope you all liked reading about the products I use and soon I will update you all with a review on some I have recently purchased!

See you tomorrow,

Chantelle xx
