What I Want From Pokemon!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter- and I apologise for not posting on Monday but I was preparing for my new job at the primary school! Today, I am sharing yet another Pokemon post with you all. I’m going to outline my hopes for what the Pokemon company may release in the future, so read on!

Firstly, I have to admit that I am a massive fan of Team Rocket. I think that they hold the show together and really add humour into it. This is why I would love to see more of them. My first want is a card collection to come out focusing on them. Japan did get this in a really cool style- shown here– but it never arrived anywhere else! (Why Pokemon!?!) I would personally love to see this created for the rest of the world as the format is so cool.

In addition to a card collection about them, I would love an anime series focusing on them. There were the episodes ‘Training Daze’ from Pokemon Chronicles and ‘Go West Young Meowth’ from Indigo League which focus on the back stories of the team but I would love to solely see Jessie, James and Meowth getting up to mischief and ending up in sticky situations. Seeing them work together and being not so successful is hilarious and would be super popular! I also think a spin off Video Game could be really awesome. My concept is for something that revolves around you working your way up the ranks of Team Rocket to become the best, battle as you go and maybe even be tutored by the very successful Team Rocket we all know! It could utilise online features to create little leagues and competitions between teams.

On the theme of media, I would love a Pokemon app. I know that they have Pokemon Go but I have always wondered why they haven’t expanded upon the Pokemon Refresh concept and made a whole app out of it. You could choose a starter Pokemon from any of the generations and then care for it and train it until it is ready to be traded. Almost like Tamagotchi, this could be a really cute idea!
