Hello everyone! Today I am going to share my 2019 challenge with you all so if you are into reading and giving yourself little goals, read on and join me on the journey!
Having recently recharged my Kindle and getting back into reading in the evenings as a way to wind down before bed, I rekindled my love for it. Don’t get me wrong, I love to read but when life’s stresses and strains take over, there just doesn’t seem to be time for it! So, I embarked on my 2019 Reading Challenge!
I have created an account on Goodreads (you can friend me here) and chosen to get the starting goal of 10 books by 31st December 2019! The rules to join me are simple;
- Choose a goal that suits you and your lifestyle. I chose 10 because it averages at about 1 a month which is a good starting block for me.
- Re-reading counts! This was a great relief to me as, in September, I will have to start re-reading novels for my A Levels that I have already studied before so they will count towards my goal!
- You can read any book you want! There is no set list of books to read so you are in complete control of what you read- which is great! With book clubs, I often find that there are books I am not interested in and therefore find hard to get through but this is a much better plan.
I will be giving updates on what I am reading on here and reviewing the books I have read. Hopefully, you may find something you would like to try reading through my recommendations and vice versa- I would love to know what you are reading!
I hope that you will join me in this challenge and I will be back with a book review soon!
Until next time,
