Hello everyone. I am so sorry that I haven’t posted in a while but I have been swept away with life! But I am back with an update of what I have been up to whilst I was away this week!
First and foremost, I have gotten myself back into baking which is a great stress reliever for me. I have been trying out a few new things but cupcakes are my go to so that’s what I have been making most (a recipe post will be up soon!) As Easter is approaching, I also made the classic Easter nests. These just remind me of my childhood so much! I really love the new M&M eggs instead of the classic Mini Eggs because the colours are so Spring-like!
Secondly, and most excitingly for me, I have a volunteering role at my old school! I am beyond buzzing for this as it will give me the chance to work in a primary school. This is amazing as I am hoping to become a primary school teacher in the future. I will be volunteering for two days a week and working in two different year groups which will give me experience with different aged children. This will be such a beneficial experience, not only for my CV and future but for my mental health now as it will give me a sense of purpose and structure- something that I am feeling a little lost without.
I will be documenting my experiences as a volunteer teaching assistant on here as well as my regular type of content. However, because I will have a little less time now, my posting schedule is going to change to three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday hopefully!) at 6pm UK time.
I hope you guys have enjoyed catching up with me and I would love to know what you have been up to so don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments or on social media!
Until next time,
Chantelle xx
