Birthday Book Tag!

Hello my lovelies! Today I am coming at your with a post that was inspired by A Book. A Thought! I saw that they posted a book tag not long ago and thought that this would be a great post for me to do as I absolutely love to read! This is a birthday themed post, whilst my birthday isn’t until September, I still really loved the concept so wanted to share!

Count your birth day along your bookshelf and then subtract your birth month. What book does it land on?

The 11th book on my bookshelf is According To Yes by Dawn French. As someone whose comedic work I have admired for years, I was so excited to read her novels. According to Yes is hilarious, sad and just a lovely read. I highly recommend this one as a book to read this summer!

If You Could Spend Your Birthday With Any Fictional Character, Who Would It Be and Why?

I think that if I could spend my birthday with any fictional character, it would be with the new Mrs De Winter from Rebecca. This is one of my favourite books and I just feel so sorry for the life that she had to lead in the shadow of her husband’s first wife. Also, I would love to take the infamous walk up to the gates of Manderley as happens in the opening dream sequence of the novel.

Find A Book That Takes Place In The Season You Were Born In

A lot of the books I own take place through lots of seasons but the one that comes to mind is The Great Gatsby where the entire story and lives of everyone involved unravels in the Autumn!

Find A Book That Is The Colour of Your Birthstone

Funnily enough, my edition of The Great Gatsby is a sapphire colour- which is my birth stone colour!

Is There A Series With The Same Number Of Books As Your Age?

I couldn’t find a book series with exactly 17 books. However, a little fact for you- did you know that Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series is the longest book series with a whopping 41 books!

Pick A Book Set In A Time Period, World or Country You’d Like To Have Been Born In

I would simply adore to live in the world of Wuthering Heights. As my favourite book of all time, I would just love to experience living the wild life that Cathy did but also try being a little more renowned like the Lintons! But those moors alone are a reason to want to live there!

I hope that you guys enjoyed reading this post and I would love to know what your favourite book is- so let me know in the comments or on my social media!

Until next time,

Chantelle xx
